Based just north of Phoenix, AZ, 6:17 Tactical is a veteran owned, family operated firearm and ammunition manufacturer specializing in lightweight, precision rifles, hand loaded handgun, revolver, and rifle ammunition, and customization of firearms through laser engraving, Cerakote, and custom parts manufacture/installation. We are a type 07 (manufacturer) FFL with a Class 2 SOT, so we can manufacture anything from pistols and rifles to suppressors.We pride ourselves on our enthusiasm for all things firearms, whether it be hunting, long range target shooting, tactical shooting, reloading, or self defense, and love to share our knowledge with others. Brandon Hill, Founder/Owner
Having grown up in a family with a rich tradition of military service (fourth generation military), Brandon Hill has been around firearms for nearly his entire life. After graduating high school (during which he spent three years as a range instructor), Brandon chose to attend Norwich University, a senior military college, graduating in 2014 with a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science, a commission in the United States Army, and an AR15/M4/M16 Armorer's Certification through Sig Sauer. During his time in the Army, Brandon taught ballistics, basic marksmanship and firearm maintenance, while performing gunsmithing services and custom rifle builds for friends and family on the side. After leaving the military, Brandon moved back from Georgia to Arizona and founded 6:17 Tactical. Since founding the company, Brandon's pursuit of knowledge in the firearms industry has not slowed, leading him to receive an Associate's of Science in Firearms Technology from Sonoran Desert Institute, to delve further into various disciplines such as ammunition loading and polymer pistol modifications, and to study with world renowned experts such as Gordy Gritters. Brandon is dedicated to constantly advancing the company, with the hope of building a trusted brand that can be passed down to future generations.
